Associate Business Consultant

This pathway has been designed to recognise the existing skills and expertise of experienced consultants and confirms you meet the entry criteria for the Certification Programme.

Once complete you will be issued with an Associate Business Consultant Certificate. You are then eligible to undertake the Certification Programme, which you must complete within two years.

Profile:

You will have the following profile:

• Be employed as a business consultant, or in senior management, with a range of clients in a range of businesses, covering at least three business areas.
• Have an established network of business contacts and sources in a range of business areas, who can provide information and advice to either a consultant or business client.
• Have an understanding of the machinery of government and how it impacts on business (e.g. on business compliance and relevant regulations).
• Be familiar with the local business environment such as professional bodies and local councils.
• Have appropriate cross cultural awareness and communication skills
• Have an ability to achieve business outcomes, facilitate change and decision making.

Pathway Criteria:

You must provide evidence of:

• Current engagement in providing consultation, facilitation and advisory services to small to medium sized businesses at differing stages of the business life cycle.
• At least 400 hours experience in consulting or senior management roles across a range of businesses.
• Ten case studies, projects or clients you have worked with.
• At least three referees who can discuss and verify your involvement in the case studies.
• Professional indemnity insurance.

There are no assessments for the Associate Business Consultant pathway.

Fee Structure (Note: All fees are exclusive of GST):

Ongoing fees

• $200 excl gst per annum.
• $350 excl gst assessment fee payable once every three years.
